Kolton was diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma on May 12th 2004. He completed an intense course of treatment which included 5 rounds of chemo, radiation, many surgeries, and 2 stem cell transplants. Kolton is currently 4 years post-treatment and continues to be cancer free!!
If it wasnt for research and the funding that made it possible, Kolton may not be here with us now. As we all go on with our lives each day, we sometimes dont realize how precious life is and how quickly it can be taken away. Neuroblastoma has about a 50 percent prognosis, but ten years ago it was less than 15 percent. Kolton is in remission and doing great but we continue to pray for a cure for all of the children that have had to fight these diseases.
