My Story
Alec currently attends medical school at UMASS and is pursuing an MD/PhD so that he can conduct research developing cancer treatments and cures. Alec is proud to be an honoree and to help raise fund for St. Baldrick's.
Alec handled his diagnosis and treatment with great composure. He is in full recovery and he shares his positive outlook with others. On several occasions, while at MD Anderson, he spoke with fellow cancer patients, some of whom had just been diagnosed, and helped them understand what was ahead for them and what approaches had worked best for him. He is thankful to all who helped care for him at Dell Children's Medical Center.
