My Story
Nick was my only son. He was the toughest kid I have ever met. He did his treatments like a trooper, never asking "Why me?" He never wanted any attention drawn to him or special treatment. When he was in 8th grade and terminal he was trying to get on the honor roll but he couldn't because he was in Special Ed for English. He went to the English teacher and got the work for that class plus his SE class just so he could get on the honor roll, and did it all. I learned more about life from that young man then I ever thought possible.
