My Story

On Christmas Eve, our world changed—Sienna was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. The fear was overwhelming, but so was the outpouring of love that surrounded us. Thanks to the extraordinary teams at Yale New Haven and Memorial Sloan Kettering, she quickly received the care she needed. Within days, our brave girl underwent surgery to remove the tumor, her left kidney, and adrenal gland. True to her spirit, just two days later, she walked out of the PICU—exactly as she promised. The road ahead is long, but today, we celebrate progress. Her treatment is working. The latest scans bring hope, and we are holding onto that with everything we have. Through it all, the love, prayers, and kindness from so many have carried us. Every message, every act of support has been a lifeline. Thank you for walking this journey with us. We move forward, one step, one treatment, one prayer at a time—with strength, with faith, and with hope.
