My name is Liam and I was diagnosed with brain cancer (a ependymoma) in October of 2023. My awesome surgeon Dr Al Cohen removed my tumor at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and then I completed 33 rounds of proton at Sibley in DC and rang the bell in January 2024. Unfortunately in November of 2024 a new tumor grew back. Thankfully Dr Cohen was able to remove it again and I am now completing 6 cycles of chemo then will likely have other treatments after. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
