My Story
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
Hi! I was diagnosed with infantile fibrosarcoma at just 11 months old. The tumor was located in my lower right leg, my calf. The cancer I have has a genetic mutation, NTRK, which means that I had to use an oral chemo as my treatment. I began that in February 2023 but it stopped working in May 2023 and the tumor began growing back. I had to try a different oral chemo in July. But then that one stopped working in October 2023. My parents and care team decided to amputate from the knee down and I had that surgery in December 2023. By March 2024, I was up and walking again on my cool, new, Cocomelon prosthetic. Then in August 2024, my right lung collapsed and it was discovered that the cancer spread to my lung. I got a port and began treatment right away. By the first scan the tumor shrank tremendously and my lung re-expanded. Unfortunately, most recently, the chemo has once again stopped working and I am starting a new medication.
Despite everything I've been through, I am still strong and happy as ever. I love to sing-a-long with Ms. Rachel and Cocomelon. Disneyland is my happy place. I love talking to people and telling them all about my dog, Dottie. And my parents, family, and everyone I meet always tell me how adorable I am.
Again, thank you so much for supporting me and my family through this tough journey. Your thoughts, prayers, and generosity are so appreciated and we can't thank you enough.
