Thank you for the time you spend reading my story. My name is Davian and I'm from Las Vegas. New years day of 2025, I woke up extra early to help my mom make pancakes. I got really tired and laid down to go back to sleep. After having trouble breathing my mom took me to UMC Childrens hospital in Las Vegas. I couldn't lay down to get a CT Scan, so they put me to sleep and put me on a machine to breathe for me. Next thing I know I woke up 3 days later in Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Turns out I grew a mediastinum lymphoblastic mass the weight of a grapefruit pressing against my heart and left lung. The doctors, nurses, ecmo specialists and therapists did a great job of letting me know the process of me getting better. My treatment requires me to stay in the hospital for the next 3 months, but its okay. My mom, dad, brothers and sister left vegas to stay here with me the whole time. St. Baldricks gave my family a bunch of books and information to make our journey easy to understand. My family would love your continuous prayers, help and support for this amount of time.
