Maylee was diagnosed with Antiplastic Large-Cell Lymphoma in May of 2023. She received 5 rounds of chemo at Riley Children’s hospital in Indianapolis Indiana and reached remission in October of 2023. Shortly after celebrating her remission, we received the news that Maylee relapsed. Maylee’s next steps were an ALK inhibitor and then a bone marrow transplant in April of 2024. Maylee reached remission but relapsed again. Maylee’s current treatment plan is another ALK inhibitor that she takes at home and routine check ups with her team at Riley. She recently started kindergarten in person and is enjoying making new friends! She loves everything to do with dance, singing and crafting. She has never let her diagnosis stop her from enjoying every aspect of life and bringing joy to the people around her. She still has a fight to continue ahead of her but she is not backing down!!
