My Story

At the age of 2 was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer. I had chemotherapy for a year and 6 months. I had my last dose of chemotherapy around age 5 via my port. Due to the aggressive chemotherapy I do have a minor hearing loss. 5 years after receiving chemotherapy I was in remission and today I am considered cured. During high school I was hospitalized for depression due to surivior's guilt from a friend who passed of leukemia. Now, I am currently a registered nurse, model, dancer, and author. My children's book "Chemo Kids" is available on amazon.com. See link below. https://www.amazon.com/Chemo-Kids-Ashley-Constance-Brooks/dp/B0CSX5TZ4M
