My Story

We brought Noelle into urgent care on May 4, 2024 for what we thought was just a swollen bug bite on her inner thigh. After imaging and a follow up appointment at Duke University, it was determined that Noelle has stage 4 osteosarcoma that has metastasized to both lungs. As a parent that makes your heart stop and you are in complete shock but time does not stop passing by. We are now 2 months into treatment and still in shock as this is not something any parent should ever have to go through but we are thankful for the outpouring support from our local community as well as the medical providers at Duke University.   Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
