My Story

In 2021 Lucas had bruises on his legs and took him to the pediatrician since they were more than a week old and they did not fade, they were tested and automatically sent us to the emergency area, from there everything began to change, we spent almost two months in the intensive care area, then he started with treatment that reached a point and they told me that we had to change we continued with a second treatment and it was in the same way they did not manage to get Lucas to get where he wanted; The oncologists recommended changing hospitals, they carried out several processes and Lucas managed to enter remission and thus qualify for his bone marrow transplant, after his transplantation a year everything was going well until Lucas began to lose muscle mass, one day he had a fever we entered the emergency room and his hemoglobin had dropped to 4 and from there until today he struggles with the consequences of all the treatment he received we still continue with continuous medical appointments and many laboratories, until now he has received four treatments and his cells continue to break every time a little less; The consequences of the treatments are very harsh, I only ask that there are treatments that are not so toxic, Greetings, Jessica, Lucas' mom
