My Story
Ella was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia just before her 2nd birthday. She is currently an almost 4 year old little girl whose cancer recently returned in March of 2024. After 31 days in the hospital, 20 doses of chemotherapy, 20 doses of high dose steroids, 4 spinal taps, and another bone marrow biopsy later - she is back in remission. This is huge to have relapsed cancer respond to chemo in such a big way. She is currently in her conditioning regimen - cranial spinal radiation followed by high dose chemo and total body irradiation. June 14th with be Ella’s transplant day (Day 0) with her little brother Bobby as her hero donor. Although Ella has over 600 perfect matches world wide, they were unable to secure a perfect match donor. Her brother is a half match, and will be her hero to cure her Thank you for supporting her and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
