Hailey was diagnosed with leukemia in January 2022 just before her third birthday. Four days after diagnosis her baby brother was born so her entire world was turned upside down at once. At diagnosis she lost the ability to walk and it took weeks of physical therapy to regain her strength and walk again. Hailey has dealt with many side effects of treatment including a weakened immune system which led to her getting a bad infection last summer where she was hospitalized for 3 weeks and continues to have to take antivirals for. There have been lots of ups and downs throughout treatment but Hailey has always had a such a positive outlook on life! We are so grateful that after 802 days Hailey finished treatment on April 11, 2024!
