My Story

Savannah was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, metastatic to both lungs in November of 2022. Since then, Savannah has had an amputation of the right leg, and 4 lung surgeries. Savannah is a remarkable person to overcome so many challenges, most adults would never experience in a lifetime as a child. The whole time through her journey she has never given up, looks at things with a darker kind of humor and keeps things light. She is a fighter and so strong. She loves to craft (draw, paint, embroidery, nail art). Her pugs, Percilla and Blu, keep her busy. She is such an inspiration to others because of her spirit. Savannah always thinks of other’s feelings before her own. She is the kindest, strongest human that I know, and I am blessed to call her my child and to go through this journey with her. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
