My Story
Stryder was diagnosed with stage 4 High risk Neuroblastoma in January of 2022, in those moments we felt lost and like our entire world stopped but we knew he had the fight in him to defeat this monster of a disease. Stryder has endured 5 rounds of induction chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, 6 rounds of chemo/immunotherapy, 3 rounds of just immunotherapy, 2 rounds of high dose chemo with stem cell transplants after each round, 12 rounds of radiation, 2 rounds of MIBG therapy and is now doing a clinical trial using oral chemo and DFMO as a form of disease maintenance. His battle has been over two years long and he is still here fighting defying all the odds. This disease may have damaged his hearing and he will live with life long issues with his pancreas but he has never let it dull his shine. His journey is far from over as he is still living with one tumor but he is stable and for that I am incredibly grateful because I have seen far too many children perish to this disease.
Thank you for supporting my son and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
