Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
Addie was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a pediatric brain cancer in May of 2019, at just 8 years old. She completed 30 sessions of proton therapy radiation, 9 cycles of chemotherapy, numerous surgeries and needle pokes. After a short 3 months of being cancer free, Addie relapsed in January of 2021. Treatments started back up and she completed another 9 cycles of chemotherapy before doing 2 high dose chemotherapy with stem cell recovery (Bone marrow transplants) treatments. Due to complications, Addie was hospitalized for 8 months in 2022. Chest tubes, intubations, and dialysis were a few things she endured during this time. Unfortunately, after 11 months of being NED, this past January of 2024, it was discovered that Addie’s cancer had come back for the third time. She recently started another 30 sessions of Proton Therapy Radiation.
