Little mister Austin went to the school nurse Friday September 29th complaining that his leg was hurting. Nurse also reported him of having a 101 fever. Friday night we didn't get any sleep Austin was in pain with his left leg. Saturday Austin became unweight baring on the left leg. Had to be carried around. That even he crawled to the bathroom to go potty. That was enough we took him to mercy. MISTAKE! They took 2 xrays and sent us home drawing no blood doing no labs. Sunday Oct 1st on call pediatrician doctor told us to take him to st John's immediately and have a full work up done. 4pm to 1130pm we were then transfered and admitted to UH rainbows downtown. We had no idea our lives were going to be turned upside down. Monday morning basically now a whole bunch of test and blood draws and doctors and our heads spinning and Austin in unbearable pain. Now with all the hope we are in the right place for this little awesome dude to kick cancers butt! Leukemia can kiss mine. I love you son! Austin loves cars and monster trucks. Spends most of his time lining up his cars and showing off them to everyone!
