A little less then 2 weeks before my 3rd birthday I was diagnosed with leukemia. It was life altering for me and my family. I consider myself a very lucky kid because the type of leukemia I was diagnosed with has a 90% cure rate. I am forever grateful to all of my doctors for knowing how to treat my leukemia. Without them, along with all the science and research that has been completed, it's possible that I would not be alive today. Instead, I am now in remission! I am 8 years old in the second grade and I am enjoying all that life has to offer. I am so blessed to be here today sharing my story.
