On April 6th 2023 we received the devastating news that our 8 month old daughter, Zepplyn, had a rare type of leukemia. This leukemia (that is a combination of both AML and ALL) along with Zepplyn being diagnosed as an infant, makes her extremely high risk. Infant leukemia is also rare and has a higher chance of relapse. Zepplyn has been in remission since induction chemotherapy and has one more round until maintenance. She has been through it all and has spent more time in the hospital than her own home this year.
