My Story

Benjamin was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma via ultrasound before he was born. By the time he was 7 weeks old he had been through numerous CT scans, a bone marrow aspiration, a bone scan and surgery. Benjamin is finishing up first grade. It's a milestone we didn't know if we would reach at the time he was born. Benjamin is all boy and loves the outdoors and sports especially playing soccer with his sister, Macy, and fishing with his daddy. Benjamin is also shaving his head because he wants to help other kids who have cancer. We've been so blessed because Benjamin didn't have to endure chemotherapy or radiation which is not the case for most children diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Neurablastoma is particularly lethal form of cancer with a high relapse rate. Our hope is that with fundraising efforts a cure will be found for all forms of cancer. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our little boy.
