My Story

Alina was diagnosed CML-Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Extremely rare in children. There is very little research in pediatric treatment, so the choices are limited. Thankfully, Alina has responded very well to the first line of drugs and will soon qualify for a clinical trial that can open the door to the hope of one day finding a cure. Unfortunately, childhood cancer research isn't at the top of the list in our country. We need all the support we can get from each other. More than 300,000 kids worldwide will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
