Gabriel is now three. He was diagnosed May 22, 2007. He is starting Interim Maintenance II. We thought he was an Early Responder but when the tests were done for the research study they found small amounts of the Leukemia that was unable to be seen by standard equipment. Because of this he will receive extra treatment. We know this is difficult now but in the long run this will decrease his chance of relapse. Without the cancer research studies this would have been missed. We are greatful for the research being done and those who support it through their donations. Gabe loves cars, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, and trains. When he is feeling well he brings so much joy to those around him including his three brothers, five sisters, and parents. We thank the staff at MSTI for their great care and compassion.
