Kian is the youngest of 3 boys and spoiled to the core. He loves his brothers, collecting vinyl records, and CDs of many different artists and bands. He plays electric guitar and has been taking lessons for about 3 years. He is such a ray of light and loved by so many. Anyone who meets him immediately is drawn to his kindness, humor and how mature he is for his age.
Currently his treatments consist of lumbar punctures and chemotherapy treatments. He had a port placed in January. We have weekly visits with his oncologist who is 350 miles from our home. By month 6 we will be doing once a month visits for treatments of chemotherapy. After the 6 months mark, he will still need 2 years of monthly treatments. He was diagnosed December 3, 2022, and by January 9, 2023, they had him in remission. We live in Rapid City, SD and drive to Sioux Falls Sanford's Childrens Hospital. So thankful we were sent to them. He has the best Dr. We could have asked for.
