Kate was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma on May 17, 2021 at 5 months old. Her treatment included 42 weeks of frontline chemotherapy, 6 weeks of Proton Radiation and 6 months of Maintenance chemotherapy. Kate rang the bell on October 18, 2022 with her brother and sister by her side. The journey to get to that point was long and full of challenges, but Kate was always a bright light and was always so happy and unbothered my all of the things happening to her. She passed the one year mark of clear scans in October 2023 and continues to be monitored by her Oncologist. We are living life to the fullest with her and are so grateful every day.
