My Story

Diagnosed in 2018, Cole battled for 4 1/2 years before passing away on August 23. Cole endured countless rounds of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and surgeries. He had many infections and hospitalizations from side effects of treatments including 3 separate infections that sent him to the ICU. Cole was smart, resilient, and the best big brother to his sister Emmy. Cole was like so many of these warriors, ready to change the world if only given the chance. His huge following in our community inspired so many and while only 6, helped change our world. He was always so very close to being cured and just needed a little more time. Sadly, Cole couldn’t wait for a cure any longer. The disease reached his brain and he passed within 48 hours of it being found. We need more funding for these kids. More treatments. More survivors.
