My Story

Ryder stopped walking or putting weight on his legs. With the sudden immobility, we took Ryder to his pediatrician, who referred the family to Neurology. I was then advised to take Ryder to the ER. Many tests later, Ryder had an MRI that showed abnormalities on his spine.I received the devastating news that Ryder had been diagnosed with AMKL with RAM phenotype. Ryder has gone through 2 rounds of chemotherapy, his tumor is now gone and only low trace's of leukemia have been found in his bone marrow, we are currently working with a transplant team for a bone marrow transplant in March. We are also on and amazing Trial drug STRO-002 to get as much cancer out before next month!
