My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Morgan was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor after a fall. She had her kidney removed and spent 11 days in the hospital. Her port had to be placed two times as it malfunctioned. She received chemo for 9 months. . She had lost control of her fingers and hands during treatment. While that is better, she still struggles. She has problems walking and bending her ankles/ feet. She suffers from pain in her legs and neuropathy and is receiving physical and occupational therapy. She maintains excellent grades... she is a straight A student  even with chemo brain and a 504. Our school family is extremely supportive. Morgan did physical therapy under the direction of Amazing coaches at The Little Gym of Washington Township . Her big sister , Mackenzie  volunteered  in her class as a teen assistant. there is no one as close to Morgan as her big sister!! Morgan also plays softball for her town. She plays field hockey for her middle school.  Hand eye coordination is a constant trial, but her brother Miles has been helping her!  Morgan took piano lessons from her big brother Michael and plays trumpet. Her favorite movies are show tunes inspired. Rewrite the stars is her favorite song! ( the greatest showman) ! Morgan hosts lemonade stands thru Alex's Lemonade through out the year and supports St Baldricks thru a kids activity station. She has had 4 play do drives and is hoping to collect more for CHOP! We are excited to participate in another St Baldricks Event!
