My Story

Aiden was diagnosed with stage 4 Nephroblastoma cancer right before he turned 5. Our world was turned upside down and we moved to out of state for treatment that same night.

He went through multiple surgeries and 9 months of radiation to his spine, abdomen, and lungs, plus 9 months of 3 different chemotherapies.

Though these treatments cured his original cancer, we will forever deal with the aftermath and serious late effects from them. He will see multiple specialists yearly for life.

There are very few drugs for children's cancer and it is also the lowest funded cancer. ACS barely gives to children, and all others/ monies do not go to any research for new drugs.

There has been only 1 new cancer drug tested and approved since Aiden's diagnosis. There are 12 different children's cancers.

The utmost important thing to our family for any child with cancer, is research for new and SAFER drugs.

St. Baldrick's is zero profit and ALL money goes to research only. It is the best way to help these kiddos ♡
