Hello my name Marissa Atkins and my husband and i just recently found out about our six month old baby girl was diagnosed Pilomyxiod Astrocytoma which caused her to also have hydrocheplis water in the brain, uncotrollable eye movement failure to thrive and its just been a real rollercoaster ride for us. They did a biopsy on and tumor came back and its cand today and its called a pilomyxiod astrocytoma and metastasized diwn her spine. The surgerns put in shunt to reduce the fluid and a central IV to start the chemo to reduce the tumor because its such in a bad location they cant operate plus shes so small. We are wanting more education about this plus support and prayers On July 14 2017 Sutter medical wasnt able to do no more treatment on her because they dont know how to treat this cancer because how aggressive its being. They declared her terminal and ended up on hospice now our last hope is possibly we can go to St. Judes Research Hospital for treatment. That is our wish and give her the best quality of life she deserves with her family n friends. I started a gofundme fundraiser for her and her own personal page on facebook for the public to support her. I thought i would share my story with you.
