My Story

In December 2024, our sweet Kennedy was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL after battling a prolonged fever. She began treatment right away, with her current plan set to finish in February 2027. Since day one, Kennedy has shown incredible courage, strength, and resilience. She’s tackled every challenge like a true all-star, learning to swallow pills and even helping with blood draws from her port. Her strength continues to inspire everyone around her. Kennedy has received amazing support from her school community, staying connected with her 1st grade classmates via Zoom and participating in lessons whenever she feels up to it. She's hopeful and excited about returning to the classroom this fall to start 2nd grade in person. Outside of treatment, Kennedy finds joy in spending time with family, having playdates with friends, and creating memories. She recently got to attend her first two St. Louis Blues games, both special outings shared with other pediatric cancer families. Kennedy adores everything to do with babies, whether real or pretend, and she shares a close bond with her 9-year-old big brother, Bronson, and her two playful 1-year-old kittens, Cookie and Cupcake. Her journey is far from easy, but Kennedy continues to shine with a spirit that’s full of hope, love, and laughter.
