On May 26, 2009, Joshua was diagnosed with ALL. He is a 4 year old who had to do a lot of growing up because of this disease. ALL has not only affected Josh but his family around him as well. Through it all, Josh has been a trooper.
Joshua calls his cancer his "owie inside." He understands ALL as something that all the doctors and nurses are trying to fix. All the doctors and nurses at Children's Hospital in Oakland as well as his primary physician (Dr. Thomas) in Vacaville are wonderful!
Josh is always one to grin and please. Even during chemo treatments, Josh is always one to put a smile on your face. Now that his broviac line is out, Josh is very excited to return to swim lessons. He loves Spiderman, trains, and robots.
