James was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on September 23, 2018. His pediatrician had sent him to the emergency room after some concerning results in his routine bloodwork at his 3 year check-up. We were shocked and devastated by the diagnosis, since our active, silly, playful little boy didn’t “look” sick. While James is just beginning a difficult journey that will take years to get through, he is still the same strong, positive kid he always has been. We are a family full of hope for many more good days than bad in the future.
