My Story

Ellie was diagnosed with T-cell ALL on Nov. 30th 2010. We were Medevaced to Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland the next day after she received platelets and blood. She was in the PICU with tumor lysis syndrome and needed dialysis. We were able to move to the Ronald McDonald House on Dec. 9th and able to return to Anchorage on Dec.24th!! What a great Christmas gift! Ellie's last chemotherapy was March 22, 2013 She did chemo for 843 days! 2 years, 3 months and 23 days! She will continue with monthly blood draws for the next year and be followed closely for the next 5 years. Goodbye Stupid Cancer! She is a Survivor!
