The reality is that it's not just a physical and emotional battle, but also a financial one. My two and a half year old niece Ella has been diagnosed with a Wilms' tumor (nephroblastoma) and will need chemotherapy, tumor and kidney removal, and post surgery chemo and radiation therapy. My sister in law will be taking 6 to 9 months off of work to care for her daughter during treatment while also caring for their newborn son. Please consider donating to Ella’s GoFundMe as she begins her fight against cancer. As you also know I have been a St Baldricks participant for 10 years now, raising thousands of dollars in hopes to help find a cure for kids cancer, whatever it might be. In all these years I hoped it would never hit this close to home.
