Hi! You can call me Charlie! I’m three years old, and am a super happy, rambunctious, silly, AWESOME kid! In January of this year, our lives were tipped upside down when I was diagnosed with Leukemia. Because of my age, and how many cancer cells I had in my body, (WBC was 113,000!!) I am considered high risk. That just means I’m at a higher risk than other kids for an infection. I got to go home briefly during my first month of treatment but am now hospitalized until I finish this phase, because I have an infection where some cells went into my blood stream. (YIKES!) So in order to keep me safe, I have to be here. While I know I can kick cancers butt, I will be in treatment for THREE YEARS at least! Welcome to my page, thanks for checkin’ it out!
