My Story

Brian was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor stage 3. Brian had to undergo 6 months of chemo and 2 weeks of full abdominal radiation. Brian had a medical port placed and his kidney was removed with the tumor. Brian did receive many units of blood though out. He is now done with treatment and is going strong, he is just getting check ups for the next five years. We pray it will not come back! Brian loves Toy story and cars from Disney. He is very active now and it takes alot for him to slow down. He is very strong willed and is very polite. He loves his family including his big brother Nathan. He also loves to play outside. Brian always looks to help you no matter what you are doing from cleaning to playing. It seems he doesn't let a little cancer get in his way, he called his medical port his special button. He now tells us he will be a Dr. or nurse one day just like his mommy.
