My Story

Amelia came into the world with chubby cheeks and a huge smile. As an infant she struggle with reflux yet she was still a decidedly happy kid. Just after her first birthday she began limping and within two weeks quick deduction by her doctors had her diagnosed with leukemia. Though her family was devastated, Amelia has kept our spirits alive with her loving, fun nature. After induction she was deemed very high risk of relapse and has undergone intense chemotherapy. While her smile cannot be dimmed, we hope her strength inspires others to search for less toxic approaches to cure and prevent cancers.
