My name is Zein, at the age of five and a half I was a very healthy and active kid, in just a few short weeks I started experiencing symptoms and not too long after that my mother Radwa took me to the doctor several times asking for answers and following her intuition, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer. I started frontline protocol and after 18 'months of grueling treatment of chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries and much more which I endured them all so bravely and courageously, I was finally declared in remission! Due to my high risk cancer I relapsed only two months after that with a fast growing tumor in the brain. Once again my family and I rolled up our sleeves and started chapter two of our fight against cancer. Thanks to God, my strength, advanced clinical studies and treatments I am now in remission again, yet due to my high chance of relapse I never stopped taking daily chemo and maintenance treatment. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give myself and all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
