My Story
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
Gavin was diagnosed in 2014 after one episode of random abdominal pain and a trip to the ED. We were lucky we found it so fast. His oncologist said he was going to have to make our very healthy child sick to make him well again.
After the chemo, radiation, stem cell transplant, and immunotherapy we have our old G back! It was the hardest battle we have all fought including his precious sister who is now 11. He plays catcher primarily on a highly competitive showcase baseball team, will play high school baseball, and his first year of football as the JV quarterback.
Without all the research St. Baldrick's does for these kids I am not sure our story would be the same. As mom I am so proud to have been involved with this foundation.
