Rhett was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic (ALL) Leukemia on December 8th, 2022, two days before his 7th birthday. The weekend before he was diagnosed, he started experiencing a little hip pain and within 72 hours our lives changed when we discovered the cause of that pain was leukemia. Rhett has been an absolute rockstar battling this for the last 8 months of and now that he is starting maintenance therapy, we hope he can regain some normalcy. What we have learned about childhood cancer research funding has totally shocked us. Childhood cancer research is vastly underfunded!
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
