My Story
In June 2016 at age two, King was diagnosed with a rare combination of two blood diseases G6PD and blood cancer (high risk - leukemia). He completed 3 ½ years of daily chemotherapy treatment. He suffered every side effect hair loss, mouth sores, nausea, pain etc as well as losing the ability to walk and talk, traumatic brain trauma, Intussusception and neuropathy to name a few.
Today he has several late and long-term side effects but he does not let that stop him.
King is an asset to the community and turned his pain into purpose by starting the 501C3 nonprofit that is donation and volunteer based named King Fights Cancer Foundation (KFCF).
KFCF is dedicated to supporting families that have a child diagnosed with cancer or a life-threatening illness. He provides free resources, kits and does toy drives to keep toy closets at the hospital stocked. This mission is near and dear to our hearts as he lost his grandmother to a terminal cancer she developed from being in the 9/11 attack, friends and peers to cancer.

King and his siblings spend their time advocating, raising money for research, spreading awareness about childhood cancer/ bullying and volunteering throughout the tri state and Florida (his grandma's final resting place). Our advocacy and passion stems from our experience and wish that no parent/ guardian has to hear "your child has cancer" and if they do there's a less toxic treatment available to them.
Our hope is one day there is a cure for cancer but until then we're committed to doing all we can. King is our hero and inspires us and so many others around the world. Despite all his challenges, King remains positive, kind and selfless and his motto is to "Stay King Strong and never give up!"
