My Story

In August of 2022, after months of experiencing progressively worsening excruciating headaches an MRI revealed a brain tumor. Taken into emergency brain surgery the next day at Albany Medical Center, where pathology reports diagnosed me with a Medulloblastoma. After recovering in the PICU, I had a long road ahead of me of treatments and battling cancer. Following brain surgery recovery, 2 months were spent in New York City to get Proton Radiation from the Proton Center and a week a month inpatient at Albany Medical Center's Children's Hospital for Chemotherapy for 9 months. Today, I am still on my road to recovery but am completely cancer-free! This has changed me as a person and allowed me to meet some amazing people throughout my journey.
