Jacob was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor called medulloblastoma just one day after Christmas. Very little is known about medulloblastoma or the syndrome that many children develop following the surgery to remove the tumor. Forty three children EVERY day have there lives turned upside down when they find out they need to fight to survive. Forty three children that do not get to enjoy life as a child for anywhere from months to years. There lives are forever changed by the necessary treatment they have to go through, and many experience lasting affects from the radiation and chemotherapy that saves their lives. Thank you for helping us to know more about the disease that is robbing children of their childhood.
