Hi, my name is Ethan Lewis. I’m going into 7th grade and I am battling stage III Burkitts Lymphoma. I had emergency surgery in April, just a few weeks before my 12th birthday to remove a tumor from my abdomen. I have endured having an NG Tube down my throat, blood transfusions, spinal taps, bone marrow extraction, and am currently in chemotherapy. All of this has caused unpleasant side effects like nausea, headaches, fatigue, and hair loss, but most of all, missing out on fun activities with my friends, cubing competitions, and soccer games.
When I eventually finish chemotherapy, I still have to face another abdominal surgery to reverse the ostomy I have from my first surgery.
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
