My Story

Louis was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a rare brain tumor, in his first year of college. He was airlifted to Loyola Hospital in Chicago the same day and underwent surgery later that week. He then had 6 weeks of radiation therapy and 54 weeks of chemotherapy at Lurie Children's. He will be graduating from University of Illinois with a Bachelor's in Nuclear Engineering in May thanks to the classes he took while completing his therapy. He is honored to receive Alyssa's hair.
