3 years ago I started donating to the St. Baldricks foundation in memory of my sister Sam who lost her battle with cancer. She began her battle at a young age and I realized the St. Baldricks Foundation was for children. At first, I did this on my own and asked a couple of loved ones to help support my cause. This year, I've decided to go all out and make this a big deal. Because it IS a big deal! No child should ever have to struggle to find treatment and no parent should ever have to watch helplessly as their child hurts with no treatment. This year, I'm asking anyone and everyone to help. I want us all to be a part of something special by helping provide children with the hope the deserve. Also, this will be no ordinary donation event. We will be cutting off my Step Dads (brandon Goodwin) pony tail and hair. If anyone has met Brandon you know it has been there for a long time! If you would like to bud to cut his pony tail off please go to: http://www.stbaldricks.org/fundraisers/Brandonsponytail. So please help us make this an exciting event by helping those who need it most!
Did you know that 175,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year? And in the U. S., one in five will not survive. I want to change that, so I'm raising money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
