Celebrating 25 Years

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research at: RMHS Baldrick's

I have firsthand experience with childhood cancer.

In July 2011, I was diagnosed with Pre-cursor B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma at the age of 7.  I went through over 3 years of Leukemia treatment, which included intensive chemotherapy and spinal taps.  I often felt sick and missed a lot of school, social events, and sports.  It took many months after finishing treatment for my body to recover and feel normal again.  I still have to return Lurie Children's Hospital for checkups.

I don’t want other kids to have to go through what I did, so I am raising money for research to help find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.

I had my head shaved when I was losing my hair from chemo during 2nd grade, so I will probably NOT be shaving my head for St. Baldrick’s 2019.  I still ask you to PLEASE consider donating to “Team Cole”, so I can support our St. Baldrick's event at Rolling Meadows High School.  Every dollar can help make a difference - thanks!

P.S.  If you would like to learn more about my story, see the video and photos below...
