I'm raising money to go towards ending childhood cancer, in honor of my 5 year old friend, Micah, who has been fighting neuroblastoma since he was only 15 months.
Micah is not alone.
Did you know that 175,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year? And in the U.S., one in five will not survive. I want to change that, so I'm raising money to find cures.
For my fundraiser, I'm selling insulated, reusable grocery bags (see photo gallery below) in Los Angeles and San Diego. All proceeds are going to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. If you live in LA or SD and are interested in purchasing a bag, please e-mail me at lightthewaybags@gmail.com.
Please help me reach my goal by making a donation online to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, even if you don't live close enough to buy a bag.
This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids--kids like Micah.
Thank you for reading and your support.
