We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research at: Individual Fundraisers for the 36 Rabbis

Join the fight against childhood cancers with URJ Camp Newman! As part of their upcoming teen retreat, Camp Newman has joined the fight by holding a Dance-A-Thon to raise money for St. Baldricks Foundation in memory of Superman Samuel Sommer. You can help by sponsoring our teens directly to our page here! If every teen raises $36, we will raise over $15,000 for cancer research! There is a group of 36 Rabbis in a group called "36 Rabbis Shave for the Brave." Thirty-six slightly-meshugene, but very devoted rabbis who are yearning to do something. They can’t save Sammy Sommer; perhaps, though, they can save others like him. And spare other parents like Phyllis and Michael from the pain of telling their child that there is nothing that the doctors can do to save his life. Did you know that 175,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year? And in the U. S., one in five will not survive. We want to change that, so we're raising money to find cures. Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click “Make a donation” to give online, today!
