When I became a mom, I learned what true love was and that I wanted nothing more than to do anything I could to see them happy and healthy. This little girl won my heart several months ago. I began following her story and knew that I could not look away as if I didn't know. I looked at my boys in a whole new light and fell even more in love with them and wanted to help in any way I could, to make a difference.
175,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year? And in the U.S., one in five will not survive. Only 3.8% of all cancer research funding goes to childhood cancers. I want to change that.
I did my first fundraiser on May 26th in my department at work and was able to raise $274.17, and I'm not ready to stop there.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
I hope you will consider helping me raise money for this amazing cause, to not look away, to make a difference.
